Premium SMS services provider vosms has been reinstated after being shut down by the mobile network operator for allegedly abusing the platform.
Vosms said it was reopening on October 25.
Vodacomm said it would continue to monitor Vosms for issues, and to respond to any issues that are identified.
The company is one of many providers that have been accused of using VosMS to siphon off customers’ money, and is known for using deceptive services to collect payments.
In August, Vosmoms services provider was shut down after a probe by Australian regulators, but was re-launched in November.
